The first day I realized the bump on my forehead was more than just a pimple. It was a large raised bump.

The photo below is when I was on my 2nd day of the ACYCLOVIR, herpes medication. I'm not sure if it's working at this point. I think it takes time for the sore to heal.

My first day putting on the aloe vera juice on my sore. The aloe vera has healing properties. I decided to cut a leaf from my yard. They are very easy to grow. Doesn't need a lot of water.

The aloe started to create a scab on the puss area. Especially with the larger sores. If I didn't do this the puss would still be trying to heal and would have probably gotten infected.

Tomorrow I finish my 5 day ACYCLOVIR medication.

Although I have finished taking the herpes virus medication for shingles the sore is still trying to heal.

The shingles has lasted more than 22 days. I still wear a hat to cover the scar. I'm sure it is still trying to heal. I'm not sure how much longer it will take before it totally heals.
