No Cure For Shingles

I hate to burst your bubble folks but really, there is no cure for shingles. The only thing that can be done is to take medication that will help either suppress it from occurring. There is a FREE vaccine out there at your local Doctor's clinic or personal Physician that is for those 60 years or older.

My doctor was shocked that I had it myself.

If you have ever had chickenpox, you still have the virus in your body. If the virus becomes active again then it is called shingles.

You have to avoid close contact with people until your blisters are healed. A person who has never had chickenpox in their life can get it from exposure to you.
